The day is finally here. The Coach House Riding School has closed its doors. We had a great afternoon for our closing party, despite the weather. Thank you all for the lovely presents and cards. Thank you so much, all my loyal clients who have supported the business over the years. Particular thanks to Vanessa, Becky, Elaine and Leigh Ann for all your help – I could not have done it without you! Kevin and I will miss you all, but think of this as being the beginning of an exciting new era. I know we will all keep in touch. The ponies all have good homes and, as you all know, several are remaining here. So, I don’t suppose I will be taking up knitting just yet.
Becky will be starting her new venture on September 9th and I know she is fairly booked up already. For those of you who don’t know, her details are shown below and we wish her the very best of luck.
Becky Jackson returned to teaching at Coach House Riding School a couple of years ago. Becky learnt to ride here for many years and went on to do her teacher training and other equine exams from the Coach House, so she has a life-long involvement with us. Married to sports development specialist, Ian, they have a young daughter Phoebe, a Golden Retriever ‘Maisie’, and a coloured mare ‘Ellie’.
Following Linda's retirement, Becky will be carrying on at the premises with a riding school license. She will be giving riding lessons, but on a much smaller scale on certain days. She will have up to four equines on her license, including Tosh and Tori. The lower age limit remains at 5 years old, and upper weight limit is 13stones.

Well, good luck to everyone. Carry on enjoying your riding, wherever you may go. Bambi and Nelson will still be out and about, so I’m sure we will meet many of you on our travels.
