Here at the Coach House we have around 18 well-mannered horses and ponies. All of our staff are qualified and are very safety conscious. We instruct any one between the ages of 5 and 105 years of age! As well as weekly riding lessons we hold courses, Fundays and host Open Days. For more information on these, visit out events section. We aim to teach people to ride safely and in harmony with the horse and most of all, to have fun. The costs of our lessons are as follows:
Riding activities take place outdoors so appropriate clothing for the weather is essential.
We cannot accept credit cards, so please can clients pay by either cheque or
cash. Please note we do not accept cheques under £20.
We try to be very punctual with our lessons to maximize the riding time
clients receive. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your lesson time. Late
arrivals disrupt the lesson for both the other riders and instructor.
We run a strict 24 hour cancellation policy – this means if you ride at 4
p.m, you need to cancel BEFORE 4 p.m on the previous day. Failure to do
this will result in the full lesson fee being charged unless there is a
genuine illness.
Riding is an outdoor pursuit. We do not have an indoor school and we DO operate in most weather conditions including rain! The only time we stop riding is if the roads are dangerous – i.e thick fog, blizzards or ice. In this case, a recorded message is left on the answer phone or you will be telephoned directly. East Anglia is blessed with the driest conditions in the British Isles and it is only rarely we have to stop riding through bad or wet weather. In this event, we offer stable management sessions. A full fee is charged for this. However, if this should happen twice within a 4 week period, the second session is offered at half price. |
