Latest news from Coach House Stables

Coach House Stables has been awarded Clubmark accreditation as official recognition of the riding school’s reputation for providing structured and progressive teaching to its younger members where they can learn to ride and care for horses and ponies in an effective way.

Clubmark is supported by Sport England and is universally-seen as mark given to establishments with proven high-quality junior sections. The Clubmark branding is further proof for everyone coming to our stables that we maintain the highest standards both in the standard of instruction and also in the welfare of our customers and horses.

In over 23 years of trading, Coach House Stables through the hard work and effort from our team of caring, professionally trained and experienced instructors and, of course, all our volunteers, young and old, who give up their personal time, has developed into a well-known and reputable riding school in the region that offers the highest quality of teaching – something now confirmed with the well-deserved accolade of Clubmark.

Our wide variety of horses and ponies allows us to offer top-level training to both the career and recreational rider.  In fact, pupils that learned to ride at the riding school have progressed to be internationally–recognised and to represent the UK in varying disciplines.  We have also produced a top pony race rider who has gone on to win his first point-to-point on his debut.  Also, several pupils from Coach House Stables have gone on to work in horse-related occupations.

Clubmark will help us to access funding, and we hope that future talent nurtured here will reap rewards – one ABRS-accredited equestrian establishment has already secured financial support via a grant for one particular junior member who has been identified as a potential British Team member.

It is always important to us to ensure that we keep abreast of all new legislation and ideas which is one of the areas in which Clubmark is able to keep us updated.
